Common questions
Can you replace just the steps, or does the porch have to come out too?
It depends what is moving. If the porch slab is sound and only the steps have failed, the steps can be replaced on their own. If the same settlement is under both, doing one and leaving the other means doing it twice.
Will the new steps match the porch?
The finish is matched at the estimate so the new work reads as part of the house rather than a patch.
How long before we can use them?
We tell you at the pour. Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks, and steps carry concentrated load, so we give a real figure for the mix and thickness used rather than a rule of thumb.
