Common questions
Can you pour a new garage floor without removing the old one?
Only where the existing slab is sound, level and thick enough to build on, which is uncommon in a garage that is already failing. If the old floor has settled or is cracked through, anything poured over it moves with it. We look at the slab and tell you which it is.
Do you pour carport and shop slabs as well as garages?
Yes. Carports, detached shops, pavilions and equipment pads are the same work with different loads and a different exposure.
How soon can I park on a new garage floor?
Concrete cures rather than dries and keeps gaining strength for weeks. We tell you at the pour when the slab is ready for foot traffic and when it is ready for a vehicle, because it depends on the mix, the thickness and the weather that week.
